Branch Manager - Maputo

Description

Key Tasks:
1. Equipment sizing/selection relating to system designs
2. To control and safeguard all assets at your disposal including stock, cash and
equipment
3. To ensure that Metraclark’s image is maintained and promoted within the market
4. Liaison with existing customers/suppliers in a manner in which would further promote
the profitability of the branch
5. Monitoring the sales performance of the branch
6. Driving and monitoring the performance of individuals in the branch
7. Compliance with relevant EH&S policies as per Metraclark requirements
8. Work closely with sales team to grow sales and assist in warranty decisions.
9. Achievement of daily sales / profit targets
10. Keep close control on all administrative functions and banking as per SPI procedures
11. Oversee stock control, deliveries and local purchasing with store supervisor in
efficient manner according to company policy.

Requirements

JOB TITLE: BRANCH MANAGER - METRACLARK
LOCATION: MAPUTO
REPORTS TO: REGIONAL MANAGER - EXPORTS (John Buckland)

Requirements: The successful applicant should possess the following:-
• Matric or N3 Certificate
• Five years experience in the refrigeration sales environment
• Two years management experience
• A conscientious and open mind with an eye for business opportunities
• Be proficient with software programs such as MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• An ability to motivate and interact with all staff members to promote company loyalty
and individual growth.
• Must be able to speak Portuguese.

NATIONAL CREDIT MANAGER

Description

Location: Head Office – Shared Services Credit Control – Mandy Road, Booysens

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Key Tasks:
1 Managing Trade Receivables from order evaluation & approval to the collection thereof,
aiming to increase sales and decrease bad debts.
2 Setting Credit Control Policies and Procedures in accordance with Best Practice.
Obtaining the Executive Committee’s approval thereon and ensuring a successful implementation.
3 Managing a semi-centralized Credit Control Department, i.e managing staff on and off-site.
4 Managing the administrative area of Credit Control in accordance with audit requirements.
5 Managing Attorney’s to ensure speedy recovery of debts handed over for legal action.
6 Negotiating security necessary to grant credit and to secure risky debts.

Requirements

MINIMUM Education & Experience
• Matric - with Mathematics
• Tertiary diploma’s in: -
Accounting
Business Management
Insolvency Law
Communications
Credit Management (level 3 minimum (preferably 4)

• Experience required: -
5 years Credit Management experience in a TRADING environment
I T experience in Excel; Word; Outlook;and at least two of the large
standard systems i.e Syspro; Baan; SAP.
Debtor insurance
Managing staff both centrally and off-site.

AN ADVANTAGE
• Diploma in Negotiating skills
• Additional legal experience
• Proof of strong NCA knowledge

PLEASE NOTE: - If you do not have the minimum requirements requested but do have 10 years plus experience
actively Managing a Receivables department you will be considered.
